In the third, though, Daytona got to Hermann in a big way, sending ten men to the plate in the inning. After a groundout moved up both runners, Anthony Hall singled to right to bring home both runners, knotting things up at two apiece. Jared Serna doubled on the first pitch from Abel, which was followed by a walk. Hermann then plunked Pino, bringing home a Cade Hunter to stake Daytona to a 2-0 lead. Two more walks then followed, loading the bases for Yassel Pino. After a fielder’s choice, a balk brought Hector Rodriguez home. With one out, Herman walked consecutive hitters.
